CoffeeRouter respects privacy and aims to collect only information that is necessary to provide, secure, bill, troubleshoot, improve, and support our AI gateway services. This policy applies to CoffeeRouter websites, dashboards, APIs, support communications, and other services that link to it.
1. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect account information, billing information, contact details, organization details, authentication data, API key metadata, support messages, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, usage logs, request metadata, payment status, and information you choose to submit through the service.
2. Information You Provide
You may provide information when registering, creating API keys, configuring teams, filling billing profiles, topping up credits, requesting invoices, contacting support, joining communities, submitting compliance information, or sending prompts, files, parameters, or other inputs through CoffeeRouter.
3. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the site, dashboard, or API, we may automatically collect logs and telemetry such as timestamps, endpoints, model names, token usage, routing status, latency, error codes, security signals, browser type, device identifiers, referral URLs, and IP-derived region information. These records help us deliver, bill, monitor, secure, and debug the service.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to provide model routing and gateway functions, authenticate users, process payments and credits, generate invoices, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce terms, maintain security, debug incidents, respond to support requests, communicate service updates, improve reliability and product design, comply with law, and protect users, providers, and CoffeeRouter.
6. Aggregated and De-identified Data
We may create aggregated or de-identified data from usage and operational information to measure service performance, model availability, pricing trends, error rates, capacity planning, and product adoption. We do not use request content to train CoffeeRouter-owned models, and we aim to minimize any use of content beyond service delivery, safety, billing, and troubleshooting.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact us through the official support channel. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for security, compliance, billing, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls, encryption in transit where practical, credential protection, logging, monitoring, and least-privilege operations. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so you should protect account credentials and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data.
10. Third-Party Services and Model Providers
CoffeeRouter connects to third-party model providers, cloud platforms, payment processors, analytics tools, and other services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply to data they receive. We do not control how upstream model providers process prompts, files, outputs, or metadata once transmitted to them as part of a request.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and support security investigations. When information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, or isolate it according to our retention practices and applicable law.
12. Children and Eligibility
CoffeeRouter is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us through the official support channel so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. International Transfers
CoffeeRouter and its providers may process information in multiple countries or regions. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to locations with data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
14. Legal Basis and Governing Rules
Where a legal basis is required, we process personal information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect vital or public interests where applicable, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or with your consent. Mandatory privacy rights under applicable law are not limited by this policy.
15. Additional Disclosures
Certain privacy laws require disclosures about categories of data, sources, purposes, recipients, and sale or sharing. The categories we process may include identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, communications, account credentials, and inferences from service usage. We do not sell personal information as commonly defined by privacy laws.
